The BELVOIR THRIFT SHOP is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) private organization (run by the Belvoir Community Committee) first begun in 1950 and has been in continuous operation on Fort Belvoir for the past 60 years. We return the money we raise to the community in the form of scholarships, grants and consignment checks. Consignment opportunities are available for those holding a valid military ID. Shopping opportunities are available for anyone who has access to the post. The vast inventory includes everything from collectibles to luggage, baby toys, good quality clothes for all members of the family, sports equipment, and great furniture bargains, as well as antiques.
The Thrift Shop is located in Building 630, 10002 Caples Road. The hours of operation are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday as well as the first and third Saturdays of each month from 9 until 2.
